PEPM Group, a Tulsa-based engineering services firm, is relocating its Fayetteville office to a larger building. The company recently purchased a 10,000-square-foot building located at 1088 E. Millsap Road for $2.35 million. The previous owner of the building was Slim Chickens, a Fayetteville-based company that used the space for its corporate offices before moving to a larger building on East Millsap last year.

The buyer was represented by Cameron Clark from Bennett Commercial Real Estate in Rogers, while the seller was represented by David Erstine and Hunter Groce from CBRE in Fayetteville. PEPM Group’s previous office in Fayetteville was leased space at 300 N. College Ave. Founded in 2010 by owner Yi Zhang, the company specializes in designing meat and poultry processing plants and working in the oil and gas industry. Their services include engineering, 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and project management, and the company opened a Fayetteville office in 2021.

Yi Zhang, the president and CEO of PEPM Group, expressed excitement for the expansion of the company and its contribution to the financial growth and strength of Northwest Arkansas. Currently, PEPM Group has around 20 employees, and the new Fayetteville office on East Millsap will start with seven engineers, with plans to add more jobs later this year. The move is expected to create new job opportunities for local talent in the area
