The Inps has announced that private employers can take advantage of a contribution exemption for hiring unemployed women victims of violence and beneficiaries of the Freedom Income. This exemption is available for a three-year period, from 2024 to 2026, and includes hiring for indefinite periods lasting 24 months, temporary hiring for 12 months, and transforming fixed-term employment relationships into permanent ones for 18 months.

The initiative aims to support vulnerable individuals who may face challenges in finding employment due to their circumstances. Employers can take advantage of this exemption by offering various types of employment contracts to these individuals during the specified time frame.

Legislative decree 34 of 2020, which was converted into law 77 on July 17, 2020, outlines the details of the exemption. This initiative provides a valuable opportunity for both employers and individuals to collaborate and create a more inclusive and supportive work environment. By encouraging the inclusion and support of these groups in the workforce, the government hopes to promote equality and reduce discrimination against vulnerable individuals.
