In the financial year 2024, Macquarie Sports collaborated with top sporting organizations to host free sports clinics for children in communities all over Australia. These clinics provided children with the opportunity to train alongside some of Australia’s most renowned sports figures and receive new sports equipment.

Macquarie Sports, along with its partners, organized 36 community sporting events in 10 different sports. The events reached over 1,500 children, with a focus on those in rural and remote areas of the country. The sports featured in the 2024 events included wheelchair sports, surfing, Australian rules football (AFL), hockey, netball, surf sports, rugby league, rugby union, basketball, and water polo.

These clinics not only offered children an exciting and interactive way to learn about different sports but also encouraged them to lead active and healthy lifestyles. By providing these opportunities to children in underprivileged communities, Macquarie Sports is making a positive impact on the lives of many young people across Australia.
