Barriau brings 15 years of international experience in senior innovation roles at Henkel Adhesives Technologies, where she worked across various industries globally. In her most recent role at Ecolab for Europe and IMEA, she led the research, development, and engineering organization. Her expertise in innovation will be instrumental in driving Hempel’s Double Impact strategy forward and ensuring that innovation is given more emphasis at the highest level of the organization.
As the new technology executive vice president, Barriau will oversee R&D, procurement, and sustainability.
