Elara Caring, a Dallas-based senior care provider, has recently acquired Caregivers Home Health, expanding its presence in Kansas and Iowa. Founded in 2004, Caregivers Home Health is a privately owned company with around 150 employees and additional locations in Garden City, Centerville, and Chariton, Iowa.

Ed Schulte, the CEO and President of Caregivers Home Health, expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating that they have a strong reputation for care and that their patients and partners are in good hands under Elara Caring’s ownership. This move marks Elara Caring’s entrance into the Iowa market, further expanding its range of services.

Elara Caring currently operates from 200 locations across 18 states, offering various services such as home health, hospice, personal care, behavioral health, and palliative care. Their dedicated team of clinicians serves over 60,000 patients, providing quality care and support to those in need. The company’s relationship-based approach and value-based care model have led to improved patient outcomes in communities across the country.

Scott Powers, the CEO and chairman of Elara Caring expressed excitement about this acquisition stating that “this deal is an exciting opportunity for us to bring our unique approach to patient care to more people across the country”. He added that “we are committed to delivering high-quality services that improve lives.” This acquisition represents another step towards achieving that goal.
