Manchester City vs West Ham United will be the focus of Sky Sports’ live coverage on the final day of the Premier League season. Pep Guardiola’s men are poised to win their eighth title, making them the first team in English football history to achieve four consecutive league titles.

Following their victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night, City has a two-point lead over Arsenal atop the table with only one game left to play. Guardiola’s side could secure the title with a win against West Ham at the Etihad on Sunday.

Sky Sports, thanks to its TV deal with domestic broadcasters, has first choice in selecting live games to cover. TNT Sports had second pick and opted to show Arsenal’s season finale against Everton at the Emirates. However, if Arsenal wins and City loses or draws their match against West Ham, they could still lift the trophy for the first time in 20 years. A draw is also enough for Arsenal to secure the title as long as City fails to secure all three points.

This marks only the second time in top-flight history that coverage of the final day of the season will be split between two TV broadcasters. In 2023/24, both Sky Sports and TNT Sports decided to focus on relegation battles instead of championship races. Leeds vs Tottenham Hotspur was shown on TNT Sports while Sky Sports covered Everton vs Bournemouth on their main event channel. Other matches like Leicester vs West Ham and Aston Villa vs Brighton were shown on their other football channels.

The excitement builds as we wait for this epic clash between two of England’s biggest teams!
