Egypt will host the joint annual meetings of Arab financial bodies in 2024, with the meetings taking place on May 22 in the New Administrative Capital. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will be the patron of the event, and Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly will be in attendance. The Egyptian state’s commitment to supporting joint Arab action and enhancing development efforts in the Arab countries is driving this meeting.

The joint annual meetings will include gatherings such as the Board of Governors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Board of Shareholders of the Arab Corporation for the Guarantee of Investment and Export Credit, and others. These meetings serve as platforms for discussing financial, economic, and development issues at regional and global levels.

Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, expressed her pride in Egypt hosting these meetings and highlighted their importance as key partners in advancing development efforts. The aim of these meetings is to facilitate cooperation and joint Arab action while providing a platform for evaluating achievements and discussing future plans to support sustainable development in the Arab world.

The Ministry of International Cooperation emphasized that these meetings are significant because they bring together decision-makers from the Arab region to discuss financial and economic topics, evaluate strategies for sustainable development, and strengthen regional partnerships. Additionally, representatives from international institutions like IMF and World Bank Group add value to these discussions.
