The Eagles completed their mandatory minicamp on Thursday and signed their draft picks, including Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. Mitchell, the team’s top pick from April, was the last to agree to a deal. He signed a four-year contract with the team, with an option for a fifth season. During his time at Toledo, Mitchell broke up 38 passes and had six interceptions, including a memorable four-interception game during the 2022 season.

Cooper DeJean also signed with the team as their second-round pick. Both rookies will be competing for playing time in the secondary alongside veterans Darius Slay, Avonte Maddox, and James Bradberry. The Eagles are hoping that the combination of young talent and experienced players will help strengthen their defense for the upcoming season. Overall, the team is pleased with their draft picks and looks forward to seeing them in action on the field.
