EA Sports’ upcoming game “College Football 25” has sparked excitement among football fans, especially with the potential return of Clemson to the College Football Playoff in 2024. The Tigers have been given high ratings, with an 87 overall on offense (No. 10) and a 90 on defense (No. 5), leading to a team overall of 90, ranking them No. 6 in the initial top-25 power rankings released by EA Sports.

The rankings are based on the skill levels of players on the team, with scores ranging from 0 to 100. Despite some uncertainties surrounding Clemson’s offense and player transfers, they are the only ACC team to make the top 10 in the rankings. While individual player ratings have not been disclosed yet, EA Sports believes that coach Dabo Swinney’s team has the potential to return to national prominence after missing out on the College Football Playoff for the past three seasons.

Clemson will face off against Georgia to kick off their season on August 31st at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. In the rankings released by EA Sports, Clemson is behind Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama, and Texas, but ahead of other ACC schools such as Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, and NC State. This first appearance of “College Football 25” since 2013 has created a lot of anticipation among fans eager to see how their favorite teams stack up in the game. This unveiling of the ratings comes after a week-long marketing rollout, building excitement for the game’s release on July 19.
