The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match between West Indies and Afghanistan has begun at the Daren Sammy National Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia. Afghanistan is currently leading 1-0 in the tournament, with West Indies yet to make a change to their lineup. However, due to Romario Shepherd being absent for the birth of his second child, West Indies has made a couple of changes to their playing XI.

Left-arm pacer Obed McCoy comes into the side in place of Shepherd, and Shai Hope replaces Roston Chase in the lineup. Both teams are currently undefeated in the tournament.
