Dubai, UAE – In celebration of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE, a unique light painting event is set to take place on May 18th in D3, Dubai’s most beautiful skyline. This event will feature the work of Roywang, the world’s premier light painting master known for being China’s top light painter and for creating three Guinness World Records.
The Xinxingshe Roywang Light Painting Art team will use Dubai’s stunning cityscape as a backdrop for their creation. They will utilize car lights as their “light pen” and an open space next to the Dubai Canal as their canvas to create the world’s first 6,000-square-meter China-UAE light-painted giant dragon. The three GAC cars, M8, EMPOW, and EMZOOM GS3, will play a key role in bringing this creation to life by covering an area of 6000㎡.
As night falls, the light-painted giant dragon will symbolize the friendship between China and the UAE. The dragon’s body shape and head represent the fusion of Chinese and Arabic cultures. The twinkle of car headlights brings the dragon to life while symbolic star lights surrounding it represent China’s technological prowess shining in the world.
This artistic creation has been approved by Mr. Khalil from Dubai Culture and Arts Authority who expressed his awe at combining cars with light painting art. This unique creation is a first of its kind, bringing together elements of Chinese and Arabic cultures in a visually captivating display.
