The Dubai Expo City Authority has announced the creation of a non-profit organization, the Dubai Expo City Foundation, to further their mission of supporting and developing innovative ideas that benefit people and the planet. Building on the success of Expo Live, a global innovation and partnership program launched during Expo 2020 Dubai, the Foundation aims to connect individuals, ideas, and resources to address the world’s most pressing challenges through partnerships and collaborations across various sectors.

The Foundation’s launch event was attended by key government officials, institutions, partners, and innovators. During the event, Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and CEO of the Dubai Expo City Authority emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to creating a better future through collaboration and positive change. Hessa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority expressed support for the Foundation’s efforts in promoting social development and charitable work.

The Foundation plans to build on Expo Live’s track record of supporting innovative initiatives worldwide with a focus on creating positive impact through job creation, healthcare improvements, and environmental restoration. By fostering partnerships and leveraging the UAE’s capabilities in charitable projects and solutions, the Foundation aims to contribute to addressing the world’s greatest challenges and making a difference on a global scale.
