The world premiere of Drew Petersen’s new film, “Feel It All,” is taking place on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Summit High School in Colorado, free of charge. The mission statement of the invite is clear: to bring about powerful and lasting cultural change that breaks down the stigma around mental health and suicide, with the ultimate goal of creating a culture that prioritizes mental health and saves lives.

Petersen’s film includes ski clips and parts from his Leadville 100 race, as well as other topics relevant to Colorado audiences. “If we just jump straight into having a conversation about suicide without any context or common ground, it doesn’t work very well,” Petersen said with a laugh. “But when we can find something we have in common, it can bring a community together.”

The first showing will take place on Wednesday at Summit High School, but if you can’t make it, there will be another showing on Friday in Crested Butte from 5:30-9 p.m. If you can’t make either event, the film will be available to stream for free on YouTube later in the summer.
