The urgency for a new deal for Tyreek Hill has accelerated as recent contracts signed by other wide receivers have highlighted the need to address the issue. Hill, who has expressed his desire for a new contract since the end of the 2023 season, has been in communication with his agent Drew Rosenhaus about his situation.

During an interview with Josh Moser, Rosenhaus discussed Hill’s contract situation and compared it to other players like Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jaylen Waddle who have surpassed Hill’s deal. Rosenhaus revealed that he has been in communication with the Dolphins’ management, expressing Hill’s desire to stay with the team but emphasizing the need for a new deal to be reached.

The Dolphins are aware of Hill’s feelings and are currently in negotiations with him to rectify the situation. However, Hill is set to make $19.765 million this year but his real average is $25 million due to a $45 million compensation package in 2026. Hill has indicated that he wants to retire with the Dolphins but also wants to be paid accordingly, especially with the top of the market now at $35 million with players like Waddle earning $28.25 million per year in new money.
