On Saturday (20 April) at the International Gymnastics Federation’s Doha World Cup, Kaylia Nemour from Algeria and Carlos Yulo from the Philippines both secured gold medals in their respective events. Nemour clinched the gold on the floor exercise with a score of 13.700, while Yulo emerged victorious in the men’s parallel bars final with an impressive 15.200.

In the women’s floor exercise, Ruby Evans from Team GB took second place with a score of 13.300, followed by Laura Casabuena from Spain in third with a score of 13.233. Meanwhile, Hung Yuan-Hsi from Chinese Taipei claimed the silver medal in the men’s parallel bars final with a score of 14.966, and Caio Souza from Brazil finished in third place with a score of 14.566.

Ukraine’s Anna Laschevska topped the balance beam competition with a score of 13.533, followed by Nemour in second with a score of 13.400, and Chiara Barzasi from Italy in third with a score of 12.900. In the men’s vault final, Artur Davtyan from Armenia grabbed first place with an average score of 15.116, just ahead of Yulo who scored an impressive 15.066
