After facing back-to-back setbacks on their road schedule, the Dodgers are determined to break their losing streak. Their Sunday game against the Mets in New York was postponed due to rain and rescheduled for a double-header on Tuesday at Citi Field.

The Dodgers entered New York with a five-game losing streak and a 7-9 record in their last 16 games. Despite struggling offensively, averaging just 3.5 runs per game during their slide, they still maintain a comfortable lead in the National League West with a 5 ½ game advantage.

Injured pitchers Bobby Miller and Evan Phillips began their rehab assignments with single A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday. Miller, who has been sidelined since April, pitched three innings, giving up three runs. Phillips followed with a scoreless relief inning, marking progress in their recovery.

The series is set to conclude on Wednesday, with James Paxton scheduled to pitch his first start of the season on four days’ rest as the Dodgers aim to end their losing streak. Tyler Glasnow will start Game 1 and Gavin Stone will start Game 2 at Citi Field.
