The San Francisco 49ers, despite their loss in Super Bowl LVIII, are favored to win Super Bowl LIX according to odds released by sportsbooks. Although the odds vary from book to book, they are generally around +550. Following the 49ers, the Kansas City Chiefs, AFC champions, are the No. 2 team. The Ravens, who lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, are No. 3.
The Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills round out the top five teams in varying orders. The next six teams include the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans in different orders. After them are the Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets, St. Louis Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Caesars Sportsbook assistant director Adam Pullen stated that they have seen a lot of early action backing both the Lions and Chargers. He noted that the Lions have had a strong season while the Chargers recently hired Jim Harbaugh as their head coach which has attracted a lot of attention from bettors.
