The UFC is planning to make a return to Denver for the first time since 2018 with a UFC Fight Night event scheduled for July 13. Although there has been no official announcement regarding the location of the event, Colorado Combative Sports Commission representative Lee Rasizer has confirmed that the promotion has received an event permit to hold the card at Ball Arena.

The news of the Denver return first emerged after UFC featherweight Billy Quarantillo mentioned it to Ariel Helwani. Initially, there were rumors that the event would take place in Tampa, Florida, but now it seems likely to be held in Denver.

The last UFC event in Denver took place in November 2018 and featured a memorable fight between Yair Rodriguez and Chan Sung Jung. UFC vice president Marc Ratner had previously stated that there were no plans to return to Colorado, but that seems to have changed now with all signs pointing towards the July 13 event in Denver.

The current fight card for the July 13 event includes matchups such as Mariya Agapova vs. Luana Santos, Viviane Araujo vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius, and Gabriel Bonfim vs. Ange Loosa among others. Fans can visit MMA Junkie’s event hub for more details on the card and event on July 13th
