Entrepreneurs in East Arkansas looking for financial help and support to start or grow their businesses can attend a series of workshops hosted by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC). The “Delta Dreams, Financial Empowerment” workshops are free to attend and provide valuable information and resources to attendees.

The first workshop took place on June 13 at the Helena West-Helena PCCUA campus, with the next event scheduled for Thursday, June 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Grand Prairie Center in Stuttgart. Nick Stevens, ASBTDC Education and Event Specialist, explained that the workshops feature panels discussing the challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs seeking financing and support for their businesses.

During the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to meet with lenders, bankers, business consultants, and representatives from local Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). The ASBTDC is partnering with the Arkansas CDFI Coalition for Delta Dreams to provide valuable information and networking opportunities for attendees.

Pre-registration for the workshops is encouraged but not required. Attendees can visit the ASBTDC website to register and find more information about the event. The workshops offer a chance for entrepreneurs and business leaders to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other. Participation in the workshops is free, and all are welcome to attend.
