Deloitte’s annual regional competition is now in its 25th consecutive year, and this year it is being held in partnership with Google Cloud. The goal of the competition is to identify and rank the fastest-growing companies in the technology sector. Growing technology companies from various countries, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, and others are participating. Ukraine has joined for the first time this year.

Natko Serti from Deloitte’s partner emphasizes that the competition provides valuable insights into the rapidly growing technology market, highlighting incredible growth, innovative solutions, and an entrepreneurial spirit among participating companies. The ranking is based on average growth achieved over a four-year period across various industries such as communication, environmental protection technologies, fintech, healthcare, and software.

Deloitte will analyze revenues of registered companies from 2020 to 2023 across four categories to form the ranking for 2024. The main category is “Fast 50,” which highlights the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Central Europe. To qualify for this category, companies must have been operating for at least four years, meet specific revenue criteria and have their headquarters in Central Europe.

Additional categories include “Companies to Watch,” which recognizes young companies showing fast growth and “Impact Star” for companies that combine excellent products/services with a positive impact on society innovation and the environment. A special mention “CE Tech Rocketship” will be awarded to companies with great potential in collaboration with partner Google Cloud.
