Photojournalist Frank West is back in action with the revamped version of the 2006 classic game, Dead Rising. Known as the Deluxe Remaster, this game is set to launch digitally on September 19, 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The pre-orders for this new version of the game are already available.
The Deluxe Remaster offers a fresh take on the original game with its use of Capcom’s RE Engine. This version features intense action, over-the-top combat, a wide selection of weapons and costumes, and a humorous storyline. Players follow the journey of freelance photojournalist Frank West as he travels to Willamette, Colorado to investigate peculiar events in the town. As West soon realizes, a zombie outbreak is occurring and he has only 72 hours to uncover the truth behind the epidemic.
The Deluxe Remaster introduces several new features and improvements to its gameplay mechanics. These include enhanced graphics with up to 4K resolution and a 60 FPS frame rate, updated 3D models for characters, multilingual voice acting and subtitles, new gameplay mechanics like aiming while moving, photo filters, auto-save feature, fully voiced interactions, improved NPC behavior, real-time lighting and shadows, intuitive controls
