The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is urging the public to avoid purchasing or consuming any flavor of Diamond Shruumz-brand Microdosing Chocolate Bars, Infused Cones, or Micro Dose and Macro Dose gummies. These products may pose potential health risks due to reported health effects such as seizures, decreased consciousness, respiratory failure, agitation, abnormal heart rates, high or low blood pressure, nausea, and vomiting.

Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, the Chief Medical Executive for the State of Michigan emphasizes the importance of not consuming these chocolates, gummies or other edibles due to their potentially harmful effects on health. Anyone experiencing symptoms after consuming these products should contact their healthcare provider for care and report their symptoms to the Poison Help Line.

While cases have been reported in 20 states including Michigan there have been no confirmed cases in our state yet. The MDHHS is working closely with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to monitor this situation and keep the public informed about any updates regarding these products.
