North Dakota Health and Human Services has issued a warning to the public about a recalled product in the state. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently announced a recall of Prophet Premium Blends Diamond ShruumzTM chocolate bars, cones, gummies, and related products due to toxic levels of Muscimol.

The CDC reports that there have been 48 reported illnesses in 24 states related to these products. Of the affected individuals, 46 sought medical care, with 27 requiring hospitalization. In North Dakota, Health and Human Services and the Poison Control Center have reported a potential death associated with Diamond ShruumzTM brand products. However, the exact cause has not been confirmed and is under investigation by multiple agencies.

Symptoms of consuming these products may include seizures, loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness, abnormal heart rates, high or low blood pressure, nausea, and vomiting. A total of 22 different flavors of the recalled products are included in the list issued by the FDA. The recall is ongoing, and people are advised to avoid consuming any products included in the recall list to prevent further illness or harm. It is important for stores selling these products to be licensed and regulated by the state to ensure consumer safety.
