Dallas Mavericks emerged victorious in the first game of the Western Conference Finals, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-105. Kyrie Irving also played a key role for Dallas, scoring 30 points with 24 of them coming in the first half of the game. Doncic acknowledged the team’s effort in securing the win, noting that they needed to work hard to come out on top. He emphasized the importance of not letting up, as they still need three more wins to advance.

The game was a close battle, with both teams exchanging leads throughout the final quarter. Anthony Edwards’ three-pointer gave the Timberwolves a slight advantage, but the Mavericks responded with eight unanswered points to regain control. Doncic’s clutch jump shot helped seal the victory for Dallas.

Jaden McDaniels led the Timberwolves in scoring with 24 points, while Edwards added 19 points. The two teams will face off again in game two on Friday in Minneapolis, with both sides looking to gain an edge in the series.
