The Dallas Cowboys have signed linebacker Willie Harvey Jr., a standout player from the UFL, to their roster. At 28 years old, Harvey recently impressed the team during a workout and is set to join them. He was named an All-UFL selection after a strong performance in the league, where he led with 78 tackles in just 10 games. Additionally, Harvey ranked first among all linebackers in tackles for loss, passes defended, and forced fumbles.

Harvey originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Browns in 2019 but has since remained on their practice squad. He also played for the St. Louis BattleHawks in 2023. Notably, Dallas has a history of signing players from top spring leagues who go on to succeed in the NFL, including receiver/return specialist KaVontae Turpin and kicker Brandon Aubrey in recent years.

Despite appearing in just four NFL games so far, Harvey has shown promise on special teams, recording two tackles in both 2019 and 2021. With his experience and skills, Harvey is well-positioned to make an impact with the Cowboys as he continues his professional football career.
