The Dallas Cowboys held tryouts for four players on Tuesday, including former first-round picks Gareon Conley and Deandre Baker. Along with them, linebackers Willie Harvey Jr. and Noah Dawkins also participated in the workouts.

Gareon Conley played for the D.C. Defenders in the UFL this year after being a first-round pick of the Oakland Raiders in 2017. After spending two years with the Raiders, he was traded to the Texans in 2019. Unfortunately, Conley was placed on injured reserve in September 2020 and has not played in an NFL game for four seasons.

Deandre Baker, who was Conley’s teammate with the D.C. Defenders, had stints with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 and 2021. The former first-round pick of the New York Giants in 2019 was waived after being charged with armed robbery in 2020. However, the charges against him were dropped.
