Curinos, a global data-intelligence business focused on offering expertise, insights, and analytics for the financial services industry, has appointed Olly Downs as Chief Technology and AI Officer. Downs first joined Curinos in 2023 as Chief Data Scientist, where he led the personalization technology team and oversaw the launch of the Amplero Personalization Optimizer solution that he founded in 2016.
The Amplero Personalization Optimizer is a unique personalization solution specifically designed for financial institutions, utilizing AI to enhance critical use cases such as onboarding, cross-selling, and deposit growth. Recently, Curinos unveiled expanded creative management workflow capabilities for Amplero incorporating generative AI, enabling marketers to quickly generate tailored, engaging content for individual client needs throughout the customer lifecycle.
In his new role, Downs will be responsible for managing Curinos’ data and technology strategy, enhancing artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, and advancing the company’s data platform infrastructure. He will report directly to Craig Woodward, Curinos’ Chief Executive Officer.
