Courtland Sutton, who has been absent from the Broncos’ voluntary offseason program so far, is expected to attend the upcoming mandatory minicamp. This was confirmed by head coach Sean Payton in an interview, despite potential fines for missing the event.

Sutton himself expressed his frustration at not being able to participate in OTAs and emphasized his love for the game and dedication to his craft. He has been training on his own in Florida instead of at the team’s facility, demonstrating his commitment to getting the deal he believes he deserves. With two years remaining on his current contract, Sutton has limited guaranteed money left and is seeking a more favorable arrangement that reflects his value to the team.

Despite interest from other teams, the Broncos have reportedly no plans to trade Sutton, further complicating the situation. The wide receiver’s future with the team remains uncertain as negotiations continue, but for now, it appears he will be reporting to minicamp as expected.
