The California Science Center has recently unveiled its new Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center Work in Progress Gallery in Exposition Park, Los Angeles. This unique exhibition provides visitors with a sneak peek at the incredible artifacts and displays that are planned for the new 200,000-square-foot Air and Space Center.

One of the highlights of the new center will be the space shuttle Endeavour, which is the only space shuttle in the world positioned in a vertical, ready-to-launch stance. Beyond the shuttle, the gallery showcases other fascinating exhibits such as the Dragon cargo spacecraft that went to the International Space Station multiple times and the Electron rocket made by Rocket Lab in Long Beach.

The goal of the gallery is to ignite curiosity and inspire visitors to learn more about space exploration, as well as encourage the next generation of scientists and engineers. Lynda Oschin, chairperson of the Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Oschin Family Foundation, expressed her excitement about the center named in honor of her late husband, Samuel Oschin, who was a significant donor.

Construction of the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center is set to be completed next year. In the meantime, the public can enjoy a preview of the artifacts that will be on display and rotated throughout
