Noa Argamani, who had been kidnapped during a Hamas terrorist attack, was recently rescued after 245 days in captivity. Videos of her reunion with her family circulated widely online and in the media. In response to the release of Argamani, Arab-Israeli actor Lama Tatour posted an Instagram story expressing disbelief at how well she appeared after her time in captivity.

Tatour compared Argamani’s eyebrows, skin, hair, and nails to her own appearance, raising questions about the suffering of innocent women and children in Gaza that has led to such captivity. Her remarks were controversial, and Israeli news network Kan reported that she had been dismissed from her role on the show “Perspective” on Keshet 12. The producer, Khaled Natur, announced Tatour’s termination, citing the network’s strong condemnation of her words.

Keshet has not yet responded to requests for further comment on the situation. Tatour’s Instagram account has now been made private, and she could not be reached for comment. Despite the controversy surrounding her remarks, many people have praised Argamani’s resilience and strength in the face of adversity.
