Community Health Network, one of the largest hospital networks in Indiana, has announced plans to expand its services with a new healthcare campus in Westfield. The $335 million project will feature an emergency department, ambulatory surgery center, medical office building, and a six-story patient tower.

Once completed, the Westfield campus will offer a range of services including women’s health, orthopedics, primary care, and behavioral health. Labor and delivery services with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit rooms will also be available. The project involves the renovation of two existing buildings located at 19800 N. East St. and 19900 N. East St., saving approximately $50 million compared to building from scratch.

Construction of the medical office building is expected to be completed in early 2025, with the surgery center, hospital services building, and hospital tower finishing in mid-2026. According to Jason Fahrlander, Community’s COO, the expansion reflects the network’s commitment to meeting Westfield’s growth and healthcare needs. The new campus aims to enhance health and well-being in the communities served by the hospital.
