Community Generosity Powers $2.1 Million Grant for Pediatric Programs at Corewell Health Children’s

In 2024, Corewell Health Children’s will receive $2.1 million in grants from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) to enhance pediatric programs at their locations. Over 60 programs were funded through the grants, including the Child Life therapist program which provided over 100 specially adapted therapy bicycles. CMNH has been a partner of the Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan since 1988, raising donations totaling over $83 million for Corewell Health Children’s.

Dr. Matthew Denenberg, Chief of Pediatrics at Corewell Health, expressed that the success of the partnership relies on the generosity of the community. Many corporate partners engage with their employees and customers through retail promotions, generating donations for CMNH. Major CMNH corporate partners include Speedway, Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Rite Aid, Ace Hardware, RE/MAX, Panda Express, Dairy Queen, Marriott International and the annual Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational.
