Members of the community are coming together to help Dreams Come True Learning Center owner Brendreka Leach repair and clean up the damage caused by a powerful storm earlier this month. The impact of a limb hitting the building caused significant damage to the window, roof, ramp, and entrance.

Leach described how lightning struck a tree nearby, causing the branch to hit the building and windows. She expressed her frustration about not being able to seek leniency from utility companies due to the decrease in children attending the center as a result of the damage.

Now, volunteers from the community are working tirelessly to help Leach make minor repairs and clean up debris. Leach expressed her appreciation for their support, emphasizing that her business is her heart and she is eager to get it back up and running smoothly.

The community’s efforts demonstrate the power of coming together in times of need to support local businesses and individuals. As they work together, members of the community show that even in difficult times, they can make a difference through their actions.
