The upcoming recruiting weekend in June is set to be a massive one for the Colorado football team, with several high-profile prospects set to visit Boulder. Among them are Class of 2025 commits Mantrez Walker and Corbin Laisure, who have announced their participation in the event. Joining them will be five-star quarterback Julian “JuJu” Lewis and four-star offensive lineman Chauncey Gooden.

Walker, a four-star linebacker from Georgia, and Laisure, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end from Tennessee, both committed to the Buffs in late April. However, with the current landscape of college football recruiting, commitments don’t hold as much weight as they used to. This presents a challenge for Colorado’s coaching staff to keep these prospects engaged and excited about their future with the team.

The Buffaloes’ 2025 class currently consists of three commits: Walker, Laisure, and three-star cornerback Alex Graham. Their commitment could also play a crucial role in convincing Lewis and Gooden to commit as well.
