In May, Colorado Springs community leaders gathered at the Ent Credit Union Headquarters to discuss the need for more pediatric mental health resources during Mental Health Awareness Month. The event was part of a month-long “Catalyst for Children” fundraising campaign by the credit union.

Among the speakers at the gathering were Colorado Springs First Lady Abbey Mobolade and Greg Raymond, President of Children’s Hospital Colorado Region. Mobolade emphasized the importance of community partnerships in expanding resources, noting that there is already great existing resources in the area but more are needed to support pediatric mental health. Raymond highlighted how Ent Credit Union has contributed nearly $2 million to Children’s Colorado since 2019 to support mental health services for children, which has gone towards crisis intervention, staffing and research efforts to address pediatric mental health needs in the region.
