As the season comes to a close, Coleraine will be saying goodbye to four key players: Conor McKendry, Stephen Lowry, Kieran Farren and Lee Harkin.

Conor McKendry, who transferred from Larne three years ago, has shown great potential during his time at Showgrounds. Although his contract will not be renewed for next season, Kearney expressed his gratitude for McKendry’s dedication and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

Stephen Lowry leaves the club at the age of 37 after a successful career with 44 goals in 373 appearances for the Bannsiders. In addition to his on-field contributions, Lowry has also taken on a coaching role this season. Kearney commended Lowry for his loyalty and service to the club, acknowledging his significant impact on his own management career.

Kieran Farren and Lee Harkin are also departing the club after their contracts expired. While their contributions may not have been as significant as those of McKendry and Lowry, they played important roles in Coleraine’s success over the past few seasons.

The departures of these players will undoubtedly be felt by Coleraine, but the club looks forward to the opportunities that new players will bring in the upcoming season. With a solid foundation built over the past few years, Coleraine is poised to continue its upward trajectory and compete for honors in Irish League football.
