Cogent Bank, a state-chartered commercial bank based in Florida, has announced that it will be opening a new office in the building that was previously home to the law office of Blanchard, Merriam, Adel, Kirkland & Green on the southwest corner of the Ocala downtown square at 4 SE Broadway St. This new location will be the ninth full-service banking center for Cogent in the state of Florida.
As part of their expansion into the Ocala metropolitan area and surrounding communities, Cogent is hiring eight new team members to better serve businesses and individuals in the area. The former law firm, Blanchard, Merriam, Adel, Kirkland & Green, has since relocated their offices to 1007 E. Fort King St. in Ocala.
Cogent Bank’s new office will offer a range of financial services including loans, savings accounts, and investment services. The bank’s president and CEO stated that they are excited about this new location and look forward to serving the community in Ocala and surrounding areas.
