The Los Angeles Clippers (46-27, fourth in the Western Conference) will face off against the Charlotte Hornets (18-55, 13th in the Eastern Conference) on Sunday at 6 p.m. EDT in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Clippers are looking to extend their four-game road winning streak in this matchup.

The Hornets have a record of 10-25 on their home court and are 8-38 against opponents with a winning record. Meanwhile, the Clippers are 24-14 on the road and are ranked ninth in the Western Conference for scoring an average of 50.2 points per game in the paint, with Kawhi Leonard leading the way with an average of 10.5 points per game.

Charlotte averages 106.2 points per game, which is 6.4 fewer points than the Clippers allow, while also giving up an average of 12.8 made three-pointers per game this season, which is just one make more than what James Harden scored for his team in their last meeting on Dec. 27 when they lost to the Hornets with a score of 104-113 and Harden led them with a total of 29 points scored that day.

This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season and both teams will be looking to secure a win as they battle it out on the court.

In terms of injuries, LaMelo Ball will be absent from playing for Charlotte as he is sidelined due to an ankle injury along with Seth Curry, Mark Williams and Cody Martin who are also not playing.
