Get ready to celebrate the holiday season with the 4th Annual Hometown Christmas event in Brazil, Indiana, hosted by Brazil Main Street and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce. The event will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is part of Small Business Saturday.
Attendees can expect a variety of activities and promotions from local businesses and vendors in Clay County. One of the main attractions is a scavenger hunt that will lead participants to various businesses in the area. The winners of the scavenger hunt will be announced during a community Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m., which will take place at Brazil City Hall.
The event features over 30 participating locations and dozens of craft vendors, providing ample opportunities for attendees to shop and explore. Participants can pick up a paper passport at any participating location, then visit each business to collect a Christmas stamp. Once they have stamps from at least 20 locations, they will be eligible for prizes.
In addition to the paper passport, Thrive West Central has created a Hometown Christmas layer in their Crossroads Trails App, which makes it easy for participants to see all of the participating locations on their phones. Simply search for “West Central Indiana Trail Map” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to access this convenient map and guide for planning out your day’s activities.[/
