The Cincinnati Health Department is committed to ensuring the quality care of its patients, and has recently hired a consultant in 2023 to study all health department facilities and determine cost-effective ways to provide that care. While the consultant’s recommendations are currently being reviewed, no final decisions have been made regarding the future of the Bobbie Sterne Health Center. It is important for us to periodically reassess our ability to deliver quality services to our patients and consider options for improvement.

While the Bobbie Sterne Health Center has provided excellent service to many patients, there have been concerns raised about long wait times and physical limitations at some of our health centers. As we continue to review and plan for the future, we will engage with the community, including those who may be impacted by any changes. We are committed to transparency and will communicate openly about any decisions that are made.

Our mission at the Cincinnati Health Department is to improve the health and wellness of our citizens and ensure access to public health services. We are dedicated to working towards this mission and serving our community to the best of our ability. Grant Mussman, as the Cincinnati Health Department commissioner, is dedicated to ensuring that the health department remains true to its mission and serves the community effectively.
