KinderFarms, LLC has issued a recall for all lots of KinderMed Infants’ Pain & Fever (oral suspension) and KinderMed Kids’ Pain & Fever (oral suspension) due to a potential health risk associated with acetaminophen instability. The products were manufactured by a major U.S.-based OTC pharmaceutical company and packaged by KinderFarms.

Recent testing revealed that some product lots did not meet the required specifications, which may pose a health risk to consumers. The affected products include all lots of KinderMed Infants’ Pain & Fever (2 fluid ounces/59 mL), (Acetaminophen – 160 mg per 5 mL), Oral Suspension, and KinderMed Kids’ Pain & Fever (4 fluid ounces/118 mL), (Acetaminophen – 160 mg per 5 mL), Oral Suspension.

KinderFarms initiated the recall out of an abundance of caution, and consumers who have purchased either of these two products should stop using them immediately and return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. The products are available nationwide in drugstores, supermarkets, direct delivery, national retailers, and online through major e-commerce sites.
