The Chicago Sports Network, CHSN, is set to launch in October with the goal of providing a wide audience across multiple platforms. With the partnership of the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, and White Sox, CHSN will broadcast over 300 live games annually for each team, as well as pre- and post-game coverage and round-the-clock multisport programming. The network will be broadcasting from production studios located at the United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field.

Starting off with Blackhawks and Bulls preseason games, CHSN will expand to include White Sox games in 2025 while maintaining NBC Sports Chicago broadcasts for the remainder of the 2024 season games. This joint venture aims to reach a broader Midwest audience, covering most of Illinois and parts of Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin pending league approvals.

CHSN has already secured agreements with traditional cable providers, streaming services, and will be available via over-the-air broadcast. Jason Coyle has been named president of the network and emphasized a fan-centric approach in his design of CHSN by focusing on distribution and production quality to provide the best experience for fans. Standard Media brings its expertise in negotiating distribution deals with cable and streaming services to the table as their partner.

As CHSN continues to build its staff, it will make announcements throughout the summer as distribution and other agreements are finalized. More information and updates can be found on CHSN.com.
