The Chicago Bears have been building a talented roster under general manager Ryan Poles for the past three years. With multiple key players contributing to their success, the team is now in a strong position to succeed.
Recently, CBS Sports released their “Top 100 NFL Players” list and three Bears players made the cut. These players played crucial roles during the team’s late-season push in 2023.
Leading the way for Chicago was cornerback Jaylon Johnson at No. 34, establishing himself as one of the league’s top cover corners. He earned a contract extension this offseason after a breakout year.
Defensive end Montez Sweat came in at No. 73 after an impressive season where he recorded a career-high 12.5 sacks. Sweat was traded to the Bears last year and quickly became a standout player on the Chicago defense. Wide receiver DJ Moore rounded out the list for the Bears at No. 84, coming off a career year with 96 catches for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns.
