Chelsea has been actively pursuing various attacking options this summer, with talks underway with Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran and Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy. In addition, the Blues have received permission to speak with winger Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, but face competition from Newcastle and Bayern Munich for his signature.

Despite offering £34 million plus add-ons, Atletico Madrid is hesitant to sell Spanish forward Samu Omorodion, who impressed while on loan at Deportivo Alaves last season. The Blues have also been in discussions with Atletico regarding a potential transfer for Omorodion.

Chelsea has already made some moves in the transfer market, signing defender Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham and closing in on a deal for Palmeiras winger Estevao Willian. However, they will have to wait until after Willian turns 18 next summer to complete the transfer.

Atletico is looking to renew Omorodion’s contract instead of selling him, which may pose a challenge for Chelsea as they continue their search for attacking options. Overall, the Blues are active in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
