Google’s artificial intelligence, Gemini 1.5, will have the capacity to handle larger documents and process an hour of video content or codebases with more than 30 thousand lines. The engine will also be able to summarize up to 1,500 pages or 100 emails. Initially, Gemini 1.5 Pro will be released to developers before becoming available to the general public. Meanwhile, OpenAI has introduced its new ChatGPT, which can interact with voice commands, images, and videos. This application is designed to process voice, image or video inputs much faster than its predecessors and is offered for free on smartphones and desktop computers.

As technology continues to evolve, artificial intelligence will play a crucial role in shaping our interactions with machines. The development of state-of-the-art chat applications like OpenAI’s ChatGPT represents the next generation of digital assistants capable of meaningful interactions with users. While Google is merging its Gemini chatbot with Google Assistant and Apple is working on enhancing Siri’s conversational abilities, ChatGPT learns from vast amounts of text data from the internet and can provide useful suggestions and insights but it is not immune to errors during demonstrations. However, this technology points towards the future of AI integration in our daily lives.
