Charlotte Independence High School linebacker Dallas Brannon received an offer from USC football recently. Brannon, a 6-2 and 207-pound athlete, has previously received offers from schools such as UConn, Duke, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Wake Forest, and Wisconsin. According to On3’s industry rankings, Brannon is ranked as the 35th best linebacker and the 15th best recruit from North Carolina for the Class of 2026.

During his previous season at Charlotte Independence High School, Brannon accumulated an impressive number of statistics. He made a total of 41 tackles including six tackles for loss and three sacks. Additionally, he was able to recover two fumbles and break up one pass attempt. Despite this impressive record on the field it’s not clear yet which school he may choose to commit to as 247Sports’ crystal ball doesn’t provide any prediction about his decision at this time.

However USC and linebacker coach Matt Entz are eager to work with him due to his natural talent for being in the right place at the right time on the field. They believe that adding such a talented player like Brannon would greatly enhance their defensive capabilities which is something they are actively looking to improve upon.
