The celebration of the “marriage” between Vojo and Manuela after 20 years of living together was held in Palagruža. The event was attended by 100 participants of Rota Palagruzone, who joined in the festivities. Vojo Šain, a legendary lighthouse keeper known throughout Croatia, played a pivotal role in the ceremony. According to eyewitnesses, Manuela first caught Vojo’s eye when she was selling ice cream in Pelješac, leading to their lasting bond. Their union was met with joy and admiration from all those present, making it a significant moment in their shared journey together.
