The 2024 Twin Tiers Sports Awards are approaching and we are excited to announce the special nominees for the upcoming event. One category of nominees is the Team of The Year, which is proudly sponsored by Steve’s American Lifetime Muffler. These nominees have been carefully selected by the 18 Sports team based on their outstanding performance during the past high school sports season.
The Team of the Year nominees for the Twin Tiers Sports Awards are as follows:
– Haverling girls soccer team, who won their first-ever state title
– Corning softball team, who secured their second state championship
– Waverly football team, who triumphed in winning their first state championship
– Tioga football team, who achieved their third-straight state crown and an impressive 41-game winning streak.
