The Iowa High School Sports Awards, presented by SCHEELS, have unveiled the nominees for the Boys and Girls Wrestlers of the Year. These awards are part of a nationwide program that recognizes student-athletes over nine months, culminating in a red-carpet event this spring, celebrating athletes, coaches, and teams from sanctioned Iowa high school sports.

At the live show on June 10 at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines, various awards will be honored. These include Boys Wrestler of the Year, Girls Wrestler of the Year, Player of the Year for 20 recognized sports, Courage Award, Coaches of the Year, and Teams of the Year. Nominated athletes who RSVP will receive complimentary tickets to the event, provided by sponsors. Guests of nominated athletes can purchase tickets to attend the event.

The nominees for Boys Wrestler of the Year include Koy Davidson, Carson Doolittle, Tyler Harper, Jacob Helgeson, Daniel Herrera, Kane Naaktgeboren, Carter Pearson, Klayten Perreault
