Kieron Evans, a midfielder for Cardiff City, has extended his contract until at least the 2024-2025 season, with an option to stay for another campaign. The 22-year-old, who came up through the Bluebirds academy, recently helped Gateshead secure a victory in the FA Trophy while on loan during the latter part of the 2023-2024 season.

Evans expressed his excitement about the contract extension, stating, “I’ve been at the club for 12 years now, so extending that for another year is perfect for me. Last season at Gateshead helped me a lot. I was really happy to get it over the line in January and I really kicked on.” The midfielder’s experience at Gateshead and other loan spells has contributed to his growth and development as a player.

As a promising talent within the Cardiff City ranks, Evans’ commitment to the team bodes well for the club’s future. His dedication and hard work on and off the field have earned him a place in the squad, and fans can look forward to seeing more from him in the seasons to come. The contract extension is a testament to Evans’ potential and the faith that the club has in his abilities.
